Installing on Linux

Software requirements

Any relatively recent Linux distribution with up-to-date graphics drivers should work, as long as you have an X11 server and the following dependencies are installed:

• gtk3 >= 3.24

Installing from crownengine.org

Download the Crown tarball, then extract its contents to your preferred location.

Navigate to the extracted folder and launch the Crown Editor by double-clicking the crown-launcher executable.

Installing from Package Manager

On Arch Linux, you can install Crown directly from the Arch User Repository (AUR):

yay -Sy crown-bin
